The people behind the build.
Horizon Building Group was founded by Robb Constantine and Lee Garrity on a foundation of honesty, integrity, and delivering projects on time and on budget. Today, that same commitment runs through every member of our team — superintendents, project managers, tradespeople, and the people who keep it all moving.
Meet the founders.
Robb Constantine
A Michigan State University graduate in Construction Management, Robb has worked every rung of the ladder — from general labor and superintendent to project manager, vice president, and president. He's spent his career in the multi-family sector, managing thousands of units across precast, steel, and wood-framed structures. Robb is driven by understanding what clients truly need and communicating clearly every step of the way. Outside of work he enjoys travel, the outdoors, sporting clays, and farming.
Lee Garrity
Lee earned a Bachelor's in Construction Management and an Associate's in Construction Engineering Technologies (Summa Cum Laude) from Lawrence Technological University. His background spans assistant project manager, superintendent, general manager, and vice president roles, with deep experience in high-rise post-tensioned concrete, precast, steel, and wood-framed projects. He prioritizes clear client communication from pre-construction through closeout. Off the clock, Lee loves national parks (47 states and 22 parks so far), hiking with his chocolate lab, classic cars, and off-road driving.
Experience on every level.
From the field to the office, our team brings decades of hands-on construction knowledge to every project.

Values teamwork and attention to detail. Enjoys family time, the outdoors, golf, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
Dave

Married 43 years with three children and five grandchildren. Passionate about hunting and fishing with his springer spaniels.
Brian
Holds an Engineering Technology degree (Cum Laude) from Lawrence Tech. He learned construction from his father, building homes, garages, and decks, and brings multi-family wood-framed and light steel erection experience. A stickler for jobsite safety and cleanliness. Travels with his wife Teresa and their dog Bozz.
Roger
Worked his way up from maintenance repair technician to manager and holds a Michigan Builder's License. Five years as a framing foreman on large multi-family projects, with growing expertise in interior finishes and project completion. Enjoys garage projects with his wife and young daughter.
Marvin
A South Bend native with 30+ years across multiple trades, specializing in framing and drywall. Married to Amanda for 22 years and father of four sons. In his words, "a construction worker by choice and a father and husband by heart." Enjoys river floating, pool time, and park walks with his boys.
Ted
39+ years in construction and a U.S. Army veteran with residential building experience. Spent 10+ years owning a construction business specializing in carpentry — framing, drywall, trim, decks, and pole barns. Has two children and four grandchildren, and enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf.

Spent 10+ years at Menards learning construction firsthand before earning an Advertising degree from Michigan State University. She's built marketing strategies for national clients and large-scale campaigns, and now brings that expertise back to construction. A U.P. resident who loves cooking and entertaining.
